We’re helping children, adolescents, and teens feel safe at home, at school, and at play. Angel Children’s Center Our Angel Children’s Center (ACC) provides recreational and educational programs for up to 87 children, ages two months through 12 years. ACC is a Department of Economic Security-approved, Department of Health Services licensed and NECPA Accredited child care facility offering services to Emerge Clients, as well as the general public. We offer prevention and intervention programs designed to help children deal with domestic abuse issues.   For more information, call the ACC at (520) 326-7135. Children’s Advocacy Children’s advocacy includes support groups and safety planning with children. Domestic abuse education is provided both one-on-one and in group settings. Our child case coordinators offer prevention, intervention, and conflict resolution curricula. Support groups are available in English and Spanish. August 2009 Schedule: [English] or [Spanish] Making It Better Making It Better is our 12-week program offered in the fall and spring at the ACC. Providing educational support groups to mothers and children who have survived domestic abuse, Making It Better allows parents to discuss how domestic abuse affects children and learn parenting strategies to deal with challenges their children face.
