Join our Purple Ribbon Volunteer Team!
Invest your time, skills, talents and passion with us. The return is immeasurable!
As a Purple Ribbon volunteer, you will be contributing to our mission to provide the opportunity to create, sustain, and celebrate a life free from abuse. Our volunteer program consists of many different opportunities, including indirect and direct services.
Direct Service Volunteers:
Direct service volunteers are an essential part of our team. Volunteers work side-by-side with staff members, delivering services to participants in almost all areas of our domestic abuse programs. Volunteer positions can include:
- Offering support on the hotline
- Supporting participants in the emergency shelter
- Supporting participants in our Family Services
- Supporting participants in our community-based sites
A minimum of a one-year commitment is greatly appreciated.
Indirect Service Volunteers:
Indirect service volunteers can assist with various projects throughout the year. This can include offering support in our donations center or helping with agency events such as:
- Mother of Year Luncheon
- Annual Holiday House
- Special Projects
- Group Projects
To get started, join us for our monthly Purple Ribbon Volunteer Program Information Session. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse and our Purple Ribbon Volunteer Program.
